Gabaron matcha is a special type of matcha tea powder with a high gamma-amino butyric acid content.

The method of growing "gabaron" tea leaves was developed by the Japanese NARO Institute of Vegetable and Tea Science. The Japanese producer - Marukyu Koyamaen - created Gabaron matcha using this technology.
