Chawan - Japanese Tea Bowl, dark blue pattern

This Japanese Tea Bowl (chawan in Japanese) is specially designed for drinking Matcha Tea. 

The shape and design of the bowl fits perfect both for preparing Matcha and for drinking it. The full shape gives enough space for whipping the Matcha Tea with a bamboo whisk, and the central part of the pattern and its features correspond to the "face" of the bowl.

Of course, you can also drink other teas from it if you would like.
